Spalding in partnership with the NBA approached FRG with a challenge. Create an innovative design for their standard basketball bins that will energize brand awareness and increase sales.
The NBA was growing in popularity but the ball displays did not match the innovation and creativity enjoyed by the apparel and shoe categories.
FRG developed a design that was lauded for its ingenuity in relating to
the game itself by making the display look like an actual basket with net. The combination of thought and execution were remarkable and combined with hitting their budget resulted in a slam dunk.
